Notes

Oscar's date and place of birth, and his co-habitation with Hugo's widow, make it likely that he is a child of Louis and Rosel.

Gleiwitz residence card

In 1905 a 41-year-old Oskar Wienskowitz of Gleiwitz witnessed Gertrud Brauer's marriage; if Oskar were a son of Louis then Getrud would be his niece.

In 1907 Oscar's paper, kolonialware and chemical products business was registered in Gleiwitz.

Oskar and Fanny were deported from Gleiwitz to Auschwitz concentration camp on 20.05.1942 along with Oskar's presumed sister-in-law Selma Wienskowitz, with whom they were living.
