Notes

Parents (named in both 1882 and 1899 marriage records): Markus Tichauer and Jettel geb. Schott.

The 1882 marriage record notes "aus Guttentag"; his 1899 marriage confirms this.

At his 1899 marriage a Julius Nothmann testified to the identity of the groom and both witnesses.

Hermann is listed in the 1939 census of Cosel at Ratiborer Strasse 7. At the same address were Dagobert Schlesinger born in Cosel on 27.12.1879 and Clara Schlesinger geb. Tichauer born in Guttentag on 02.07.1890; it seems likely that Dagobert and Clara were a married couple, and possible that Clara was Hermann's daughter.

Hermann was deported from Oppeln to Theresienstadt concentration camp on 04.12.1942.
