Assumed to be the widow Linna Staub geb. Wechselmann born 14.06.1863 who died in Berlin aged 70 years in 1934. Her death was reported by her daughter-in-law Paula Cronheim. Her date of birth is noted at the foot of her death certificate.

Markus and Linna were living in Breslau at the time of son Max's 1910 marriage, and in Berlin, Charlottenburg at the time of son Alfred's 1920 marriage.
