Notes

The son of Benjamin Markiewitz and Handel/Hanchen Mueller; the mother is assumed to be the Hendel Ostrawska named as the mother of Baruch in his marriage certificate (see Hendel Mueller/Ostrawska's page for more information). Consistent with this assumption, Lieb was living in Lipine, Kreis Beuthen at the time of his marriage in 1919.



His death is also recorded in the second marginal note in his marriage certificate.
