A Tobias Sachs is mentioned in an 1875 list of new members of the Israelitischen Kranken-Verpflegungs-Anstalt und Beerdigungs-Gesellschaft in Breslau.

JRI-Poland records the birth of "Efroim v Eugen" Sachs in Lviv in September 1870 to Tobias Sachs from Rybnik and Handel Prager. The record of Tobias's 1869 marriage to Handel Prager notes that he is from Rybnik but was at that time resident in Lemberg.
