Aged 24 years when he married in 1839, so born 1814-15. Died aged 72 years so born 1810. Fritz Kassel says that Herz and Bianka must have married around 1815 (page 391), and also indicates that Mannheim was their second child (page 387), so 1815 seems the more credible birth date.
