Reports of her age are inconsistent:
- aged 30 years in the 1841 census (which tended to round adults' ages to the nearest 5 years), so born around 1810;
- aged 45 years at 1851 census, so born 1805-06;
- aged 55 years when she died in 1857 so born 1801-02.
Her marriage in 1822 means that she couldn't have been born later than 1806. She was a widow when she married in 1822, so it's likely that she was born earlier than 1806.
