Karl was baptised in St Elisabeth's Catholic church, Stadt Wien, on 06.09.1908, less than two weeks after his birth. The baptimal register records his place of birth as "IV Bez. Schelleingasse, 17" and, since it does not record the name of the city, I assume it was Wien. The baptismal record also gives details of his parents' births and of his marriage and death.
