His death certificate places his birth in Langendorf and names his father as Simon (of which Schaye is a common cognate); JRI-Poland records the movements of Hirschel and his family in 1832 and 1834, naming his father as Schaye Marcus. I have attached Hirschel to Schaye speculatively on this basis; doing so helps to fill a 13 year gap between the births of Eva and Hannel.
