WE WERE LUCKY
An autobiography by Hilde Gerrard neé Weissenberg, born 1907 P.S.This story was lying for many, many years in a drawer. I am happy to report that we reached retiring age and moved ten years ago nearer to where our children with their families live in North London. We have a flat in Harrow, belong to a Reform Synagogue and made many friends here. As the story has a happy ending and so many were victims of the Holocaust, like my parents and many relations, I can say: "We were lucky".
